Gregor Lipa successfully completed his thirty-fist month of siege at Hanover. Gianni della Rovere, King of Sinigaglia, successfully completed his thirty-first month of siege at Philippopolis. Arthur Ker, Viscount of Jedburgh, successfully completed his twenty- eighth month of siege at Danzig. Henry Talbot successfully completed his ninth month of siege at Bern. At Hanover (FAR=999), Gregor Lipa (G=167) subjected the walls to siege bombardment with his 20 cannons. One of these self-destructed while inflicting no damage. Anton Dortmund (G=999) then engaged in counter-battery fire with his 8 cannons, destroying 8 of the remaining Lipa cannons while one of his own self-destructed. At Philippopolis (FAR=999), Gianni della Rovere (G=963), King of Sini- gaglia, subjected the walls to siege bombardment with his 4 cannons. One of these self-destructed while inflicting no damage. Balint Halabori (G=999) then engaged in counter-battery fire with his single cannon and Abdul Daoudoglu (G=999), Grand Vizier, did likewise with his 62 cannons. The former's cannon and two of the latter's self-destructed while the King's three remaining cannons were destroyed. Inside Knin, the Cesh family tower (FAS=153), which was defended by 15 tower garrison troops, was captured by assault by Sigismund Bathory, Magistrate of Kning, with (M=925) 2,485 auxiliaries. Boabdil Qitada nd Kausrau Qitada completed pilgrimages to Mecca. The Pope translated Duncan Campbell, Bishop of Skalholt, to the Archbishopric of Trier.
