Hans Schade resigned the position of Archbishop of Riga. Inside Pusan, the town's de facto controller, T'ing-Hsiang Ouang and his 41 auxiliaries (M=481) were attacked and defeated by Yoshizuni Ashikaga, Magistrate of Fukuoka, with (M=479) 107 auxiliaries and 40 crew. The Magistrate took control of the town, but did not kill T'ing-Hsiang. The victim had no capturable assets. At Arles (FAS=999, FAR=348), Charles de Lenoncourt, Count of Lenoncourt, subjected the town to siege bombardment with his ten cannons (G=999). One cannon self-destructed while the location's FAS was reduced to 992. There was no counter-battery fire. At Arcachon (FAS=999, FAR=999), Robert de Lenoncourt, Archbishop of Tours, subjected the town to siege bombardment with his 42 cannons (G=974).
